S.T.A.R. Fund

The OSAA Foundation has established a fund to support schools and/or their leagues in their sportsmanship and S.T.A.R. initiatives. S.T.A.R. stands for Safety, Tolerance, Acceptance and Respect. Each league and/or school can apply for a grant up to $2,000 each. In addition, if schools sign up to be a S.T.A.R. school, they'll receive an additional $1,000 to support their vision in making their school more safe, more tolerant, more accepting, and more respectful.

If you have an event, program, or idea that these funds could be used for, please contact Kelly Foster (OSAA Assistant Executive Director) at kellyf@osaa.org. There is no formal application. All submissions must be made by / supported by school administration. Details for how the money would be spent is important as staff reviews applications. Submissions can be sent in any time throughout the school year.
